Lucky to be alive kitten is lost along way from home!

The driver of an artic lorry had a bit of a shock when he opened the rear doors of his vehicle at South Wales Wood Recycling, Coity, Bridgend to find an extra unexpected cargo in the form of a small stowaway kitten. Fortunately this is local to Cats Protection Bridgend Adoption Centre, not knowing what to do with the kitten the driver went there for help.
Sue Dobbs Centre Manager Said, “The kitten whom we called Willow was in very poor physical condition when she arrived at the centre, she collapsed within a few minutes of arriving here. We didn’t expect her to survive the trip to the vets but she is a little fighter and hung on in there. An X-ray showed no broken bones but she was suffering from hypothermia and had sustained a head injury. Willow is making a good recovery but has been left with some brain damage, we are not sure if it’s permanent at this point. We are continuing to work with our vets to give her the best possible care, but are anxious to re unite her with her owners”.
South Wales Wood Recycling have confirmed that the lorry belonged to their company, they believe the kitten got on board in the Bristol area. Willow is a black female kitten approx. 12 weeks old. Please contact Cats Protection Bridgend on 01656 724396 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you think Willow maybe your kitten.
